Preston's 28th Birthday

Usually we go to the cabin for Preston's birthday and invite friends and family, but this year we decided to celebrate more low key since we were leaving on our cruise the following week. His birthday fell on a Sunday, so we invited over family for dinner and dessert, and the night before we went to the car show (it was a high school tradition of mine) It was fun to sit in all of the nice cars, and wish that you had all the money in the world to buy one. However we ended up spending almost all of our time at the Subaru's. The new legacy is gorgeous! This is the only picture my dad captured of the event. I promise my kitchen doesn't always look like this!

Girl's Lunch

My friends Andrea and Erin were in town for the holidays, and our group of friends were able to get together. It has been hard to get all of us together with Erin working on her graduate degree out of state and Andrea and her husband living out of state. (One of the things I miss about high school was being able to see my friends everyday.) It is so fun to see the exciting adventures life has brought to each of us since the last time we had lunch. Andrea had a darling little boy just a few months before, Katie's little girl is getting to be so big, and Preston and I moved into our brand new house.

New Years 2010

I can't believe how fast another year has come to a close. It was an eventful year to say the least...

1. The annual car accident. In 2009 I was backed into at a gas station and the guy who hit me left out of the country for 6 weeks. Needless to say it took three months to finally get my car fixed. (Don't worry I have already fulfilled my 2o10 as well. I didn't get too far in the year this year. I was rear ended on January 4th)
2. The passing of my dog Penny, our bird Sunny and my dear sweet Kitty.
3. The miscarriage :-(
4. Preston being accepted into business school
5. The purchase of our new home
6. The new addition of our dog Canyon and our bird Melo.

I can't wait to see what the rest of 2010 brings us! To begin the year we had a party at our house. It was fun to start the year off surrounded by friends and family.

Christmas 2009

Well Christmas came and went by really fast. It really doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but it was over a month...Crazy well this post will be short. I had to hijack Miss's login to be able to finish this post for her.

Miss's parents got us matching pajamas. Canyon had a fun time playing in the wrapping paper.

This year we spent Christmas eve with my family and April has all the pictures. I will post some when I get them from her. It was a great year and we feel so blessed to have such a great family.
