I looked out the window and what did I see...

Snow. In May. Does anyone see anything wrong with this picture besides me? Is it too much to ask to wear capri's and flip flops. I just want a nice 75 degrees. Is that really so difficult?

Students, Golf Balls and Blonde Moments

So today my darling student Isabella brought me a balloon. Very sweet of her. Well she is six and prefers to go by princess Bella. When she said that she was going to go fly her kite with her boyfriend this weekend. I asked her if she was going with Grant. Well apparently she has three boyfriends. The girl is so cute! Then she leans in really close and stares at my face and says "you have a lot of freckles on your nose". Yes I do. :-( I hate freckles. You have to love kids. They are just perfectly blunt sometimes. Don't worry that yesterday we go to head to dinner and were planning on taking my car. Well I always hang up my keys and I walked out the door with out my keys. Preston looks at me to lock the top lock (the bottom was already locked.) Well my keys were still inside (so I thought). We had to go ask for an extra key from upstairs. Bless my heart when we couldn't find them inside, guess where they turned up? In my purse. Get this folks, today I was driving from school to go teach when something hit my car. It took me a good second to figure out what I could possibly have hit. Until it dawned on me, a golf ball had hit my car. Who puts a road through the middle of the golf course, and why is there a golf course on campus? Well now I have a lovely dent on the rear passenger door. What are the odds? Why do I even go to class?

Busy Weekend

I know I am lame, but again I have no pictures to put with this post :-( I am getting so bad about carrying my camera. This weekend was pretty busy, but it turned out to be really good. On Friday Steph had me over for lunch and cooked the best pasta dish! What a nice treat! That night we hung out with Preston's sister and her soon to be fiance. We went to Gepettos for pizza ( I have been craving that place for at least a month) and then rented a movie and made cupcakes. On Saturday after running the usual errands and spending a fortune at Costco. (I swear they must make so much money, no one walks out of there with under a 100 worth of purchases). Well that night I had my studio piano recital and then hung out with Em and Ryan and Mike and Madison and watched Juno. I have to say it was a pretty good show. Today I got to play in sacrament meeting and after dinner at Pres's parents we headed up to Craig's senior recital. And now it brings me to my homework which I am procrastinating. Oh the joys of these next two weeks. I very much dislike finals. Hope all is well with everyone!

Drive by Splashing

So today I was on my way to class, walking down 1st south by Kingsbury Hall when I noticed a large amount of water pouring into the street from a pipe. Where it came from I am not really sure. As I was thinking about this, a car drove by. Just like in the movies there came this wall of water. It was seemed like slow motion. And there I was dripping wet. My hair completely ruined, my jeans completely soaked. And all I could think is what are the odds?

Birthday and Golfing

Today we have officially been married for a year and a half. It is crazy how the time flies. This weekend was a great weekend. On Friday we met up with Mike and Madison for miniature golfing. It was a blast, especially when Madison's ball ended up not only in the water which we had to fish out, but half way down the green of the next hole. To top it off when Madison went to go and get it these girls hadn't seen her golf ball fly by and were like "excuse me." It was pretty funny. Mike got a hole in one on the last hole and these sirens went off, and he got a ticket worth three points, which was pretty much only equivalent to a dollar or half a ride on the magic bus. (it's like a small version of the magic carpet) Then we went to Ihop for desserts and pancakes, and I got to relive my teen years, which included making a concoction out of my dessert with the syrup and spilling my water all over the table. On Saturday Steph and I took Kira out for her birthday dinner which has been a tradition since high school while Preston and some of his friends went to the jazz game. Oh sorry about the bad picture! We were having quite the struggle trying to take our own picture. Oh and by the way in case you can't tell I chopped all my hair off (about a foot)!
